Awestruck is what you'll be when you witness an 800lb Pacific Blue Marlin tailwalking behind the boat on a beautiful Kona morning. Our boat name, "A'u Struck", incorporates the two words.

Owned and operated by Cap't. Rich Youngs, the boat has been chartering the Kona waters since 1996 while Rich has been fishing here for the past 10 years. He knows how to catch fish!

We catch fish as well as, or better than, the bigger charters at half the price! Why fish with anyone else?

Our Charter rates are a bargain for what you get:
1/2 Day = $325* (4 hours)
3/4 Day = $375* (6 hours)
Full Day = $425* (8 hours)
*4% Hawaii tax will be added for all credit card transactions
Charters are for up to 5 people. A deckhand will be on board for assistance and safety. Tipping for the deckhand is discretionary (usually 10-15%).
We provide the ice, bait and tackle. You need to bring your food, drinks, and sunscreen, etc.

Fresh Fish for Dinner - Guaranteed!
You'll always bring home dinner when you fish on our boat. That's because if we do not catch fish that day, you'll receive a free gift certificate from us for fresh fish from the fish market located right here in the harbor. Certificates are in the amount of $25 and are redeemable at the "Bite Me" fish market. You'll be able to choose your favorite fish or something you may not have tried yet. Plus, it'll be cleaned and packaged for you to take home without the mess. I sell my fish to them and they sell it to you, so it's always fresh.

Important!
When we do catch fish we will gladly clean and bag one (or some) of the smaller fish we catch (up to 15 lbs. total) to take home for your personal consumption. The remainder of the caught fish will stay with the boat.
